About

What happens when you combine a historical curiosity for photography, talent for Craigslist treasure hunting, 30 years of horse obsession, COVID’s gift of time, and countless bookmarked images of inspiration?

= An embarrassingly large amount of photos, some of which are worth showing a few people.

The original shit is long, so here's your TLDR:

Ash: loves animals, horses #1. Takes a shit ton of pics. Is easily sidetracked by a good bargain and pretty things. Fairly skilled writer when trying, but verbose as a mofo. Determination and research skills at the core of an oddly successful corporate career. Walking contradiction with enough likable try-hard qualities to charm patient people. Bonus material: Animals tend to be a fan. Plans a hell of a party. Oh - vegetarian.

I'm Ashley - I'm 35 (yikes!) and still very much trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Did 15ish years of hard time as a corporate executive assistant, and am now exploring a creativity-based career path. Photography is a long-time obsession of mine, and in recent years has become a genuine fascination and area of study. The leap into DSLR equipment has been thrilling to experiment with and I've recently upgraded my original Nikon D5100 over to a D5600 - 4 months into using it I'm still rocked at times! The image quality and color depth are astounding, allowing the viewer to almost be on location at the site of the shot. These tech folks and their ideas -  very impressive.
